Lapseki takes its cue from the strait's calm current. Fruit orchards sit at one end of town, the ferry dock at the other, with a small but self-sufficient town in between. Watching the opposite shore to pass the time is a plan, and so is walking along the orchards. Don't expect a big agenda — evenings here shape themselves. If you don't know what to do, throw the dice somewhere between the dock and the orchards and go wherever it lands.
